COVID-19 may have slowed things down, but we’re COVID-19 may have slowed things down, but we’re moving fast as ever in our section! Meet the ‘kids’ - our current PhD students at the Division of Sustainability, Energy and Indoor Environment at BUILD West. We’ve recently welcomed three new PhD students, and two guest PhDs. Fingers crossed we’ll be able to enjoy our morning coffee together sometime soon ☕️🤞🏼 #spottheassociateprofessor
Follow-up on our post a few weeks back! Martin and Follow-up on our post a few weeks back! Martin and Jakob’s thesis revolves around Domestic Hot Water (DHW) systems. Measurements show that up to 90-95% of the energy used to heat DHW comes from heat losses in the system. They’re attempting to optimise this by introducing electric heating close to tap locations, specifically here at AAU. Overall the goal is to reduce both energy and water consumption - and maybe even revolutionise how we design DHW systems! Good luck to them 🔥💪🏼#aalborguniversity#indoorenvironmentalandenergyengineering#ieee#masterthesis#buildingsystems#domestichotwater#DHW#laboratory#labwork#civilengi NBC neering#iamcivil#BUILD
